The History of Lamine and Yamal

LAMINE YAMAL AND THE NEW FOOTBALL ERA OF BARCELONA

Yamal was born on July 13,2007 in Esplugues in Barcelona metropolitan area in catalonia.

His mother was born Bata Equatorial Guinea,and his father is from Morocco.

Yamal is a spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for the La Liga giants Barcelona  and also enjoys football from the wing side in the spanish national team.

Yamal graduated from the La Masia Barcelona's youth football club or football academy as well as other young players doing greatly with Barcelona currently.

At six years of age,Yamal was scouted by Barcelona and was invited to training session in La Masia,where he signed for the club in 2014 and finally moved to Barcelona and become the genius of what we are seeing today as he also become resident in Barcelona.

Youth Career

Yamal was seeing as one of the academy's best player, he was selected by Xavi to train with the first team along with other young players in September 2022.

while never still signed his fist professional contract with the club and he occurred to be the best among the young players that came to train with first team to impress the coach

The growing GENIUS LAMINE YAMAL made his first debut on 29 April,2023 replacing Gavi in the almost concluded game around 83 minute of the football time of play and they won 4-0 against Real Beltis in the La Liga and Yamal recorded a shot on target and became the leagues youngest star in 15 years in history of the La Liga League, and also became the youngest footballer to appear for Barcelona team in 15 years after Armando Sagi in 1992.

Yamal won his first League title with Barcelona in 2022-2023 La Liga season.

Yamal remained in the Barcelona athletic club though,he started his first appearance in the game against Cadiz at the Estadi  OlympicLluis companys,he was subd off in very late minute when the match has almost eneded.

Yamal won the man of the match in his next appreance as he contributed immensely to the success of the match and also gave two assists one for Gavi and the other for Robert Lewandowski and both assists were converted to goal and the match eneded 4-3, a victory over Villarreal on 28 August,2023.

Yamal was named player of the month for August due to his exceptional performance and the genius made his Champions leagues debut in a brilliant 5-0 victory over Royal Antwerp.on october 2.Yamal decided to extend his contract  to 2026 with a huge amount of money, 1Billion euro.

On 11 January,2024. Yamal scored in a 2-0 win over Osasuna in the semi-final of the Spercopa de Espana,becoming at 16 years and 182 days ,the youngest player to score in the supercopa ,he played the last 29 minutes of the final against Real Madrid on 14 Januray.

Later in the nearest two weeks,on 25 January he scored in the Copa del Rey quarter finals against Athletico Bilbao in 4-2 loss after extra time and become the youngest goal scorer in the history of the competition

On 11 February,Yamal scored his first brace in a 3-3 draw against Granada,amd won the man of the match.

in the 203-2024 season Barcelona finished second in the La Liga table and secured a place in the Champions League after being knocked out by P.S.G  and the match ended 4-1 in favor the French club

Yamal started recording achievements and broke records at the of 16, he made 50 appearances in all competition,He became the youngest starter for Barcelona,youngest player to assist,also youngest to score for Barcelona, youngest to feature in the El classico game

2024-2025

Yamal assisted Robert Lewnadowski in the first match against Valencia  and the match ended 2-1 in favor of the Catalonias after Lewandowski converted a penalty kick 

In the next match against Athletic Bilbao on 24 August,Yamal scored his first goal 0f the season in another 2-1 victory on 19 September ,Yamal scored his first UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE goal against Monaco in their away 2-1 loss.

He became the second youngest player champions league scorer after Ansu Fati

On 26 October, at the as he of 17 years and 105 days ,Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in El Classico history when he netted the third goal in a 4-0 victory against their immediate rival Real Madrid as he surpasses the record of his teammate Ansu Fati who did so at the of 17 and 359 days in October 2020.

Ansu Fati,Yamal and Rafinha were probably abused racially by some home group fans in Spain.

Yamal as youth in Catalonia

Yamal represented the youth sections of the Catalonia national football team from a very young football age and was a captain when he was 11 years old.He was Captain all through his time of play for the under age football to under 16 teams

In November 2022,Yamal score an impressive solo gol in a match against Castile and Leon and later in that same month he converted a penalty shot  and provided an assist for the second goal .

Youth as a Spanish national team player

Yamal was a youth international player for the Spanish national team,after played for the Spanish under 15 and 16 squads respectively,in 2023, he represented Spain's u-17 side in the  2023 European U-17 Championship with him scoring four goals and helped his team to make it to the semi-finals before they were knockedout by the French team
