The Biography of the Goat

Lionel Messi the only GOAT was born in 24th June 1987.Messi is from south American side Argentina he's a professional footballer who plays a major role in the Argentine professional football team and currently the captain of the side .The Argentine genius was born in Rosario in Argentina and relocated to Spain because of his football career.

The genius is the third of four children of the parent Jorge Messi,a steel factory manager, and his wife Celia Cuccittini, who is working in a magnet producing factory

 

The Goat himself

Messi the Goat made a professional and competitive depute at the age of 17around October 2004 and was within three years in his career he was unstoppable  he Barcelona to achieve some big wins and claim a lot of trophies such as the treble in Spanish football.

Messi won his first four Ballon dor continuously  and was named the first player to attain such peak of football career, he was known to be the Barcelona's all time scorer and set a lot of records both in the league and European football at large.

Most times if he didn't crowned the world best player certainly he must be the runner up following his immediate counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo.

 Messi was the all time top scorer in La Liga League between 2014-2015 football season and helped Barcelona to remarkable treble again after the first treble record and won the Ballon dor the fifth time and still won the Ballon don the sixth time in Barcelona in 2019.

So good so far for the Argentine genius with the several Ballon dor awards and other achievements claimed to his name  but there was just a problem in some of the awards '' they were controversial''. Messi won over 34 trophies all together before leaving for Paris Saint Germain in August 2021 and was there for about two seasons and was able to win the league title in the two seasons spent there.

The Argentine genius is one of the all time goal scorer in history of football and one of the most recognized and renowned player just like the likes of PELE,GEORGE WEAH, MARADONA. among others.

Messi was highly recognized by the former Argentine genius late Maradona just because of his exceptional style of play and exceptional performance that leads to his unstoppable achievements.

The Goat won the FIFA under (20) world cup in 2005 and won gold medal in 2008 in the Olympics, he was the youngest player to play and score in a world cup in 2006.

Through his effort and the effort of other of his team mates they were able to get to finals two times without a break, they lost the the two trophies though. 2014 FIFA world cup and 2015 Copa America.

The Goat beat the biggest challenge of his career

One of the biggest challenge face by the Argentine genius has been the inability to win the world cup, the world cup title was a big question for him and his immediate rival Cristiano Ronaldo in which many fans of both players, news paper company, sport conference, media and rest of the world would use as yard-stick to measure both players and provide the all time answer to the all time big question who is the best player between (Ronaldo and Messi) 

Both players did all they could to be the first to win the world cup but all to no avail, it was frustration for both sides and was leading to some drastic decision taking by the Goat Lionel Messi when he unexpectedly announced his retirement from international duties and later discovered he was wrong i think and later denounce the initial  announcement in 2016

He managed and joined his team mates to securing a chance for the 2018 FIFA world cup which they exit out at very early stage of the tournament. Messi and his mates didn't lose hope but come back again to break the Argentine 28 years without a trophy which started with the victory in 2021 Copa America and the Goat also won the best player of the competition.

More importantly, the Goat led his team to the Final stage of the FIFA 2022 world cup in Qatar, where they lost their first match against Saudi Arabia and it seems all hope was gone for the Argentine side.

all eyes on Messi and Ronaldo but the Goat proved to be the real GOAT ever lived. The Argentine  genius was fantastic along the run in the world competition in Qatar until they made it through to the final stage against the then defending champions FRANCE

Lionel Messi the only Goat broke the yoke, set the GAP between him and his rival Cristiano, the Argentine genius provided the answer, the brilliant Goat set the only record and beat the challenge of his career as he finally won the most prestigious trophy

This big achievement helped him to claim the eight Ballon dor award. The genius get to some highest peak of football in history and become the highest paid footballer between 2009 and 2014 and was ranked the highest paid athlete by Forbes between 2019 and 2022,he also endorsed sportwear company adidas, Messi was among most influential people in the whole world between 2011,2012 and 2013 respectively.

He won the Lauren world sportsman of the year in 2020 and 2023,supsequently he became the second footballer to attain one billion dollar in football career earnings.
