His Early life

Henry's father Antoine is from Guadeloupe {La Desirade island} and his mother Maryse, is from Martinique. He was born and nurtured in Les Ulis suburb of Paris which sometimes referred to as a very strong neighbourhood,with provision of good footballing facilities.

After a pressure from his father to attend trainings even though his way of life then does not see him becoming a professional footballer in his life career, eventually he joined the US Palaiseau in 1989, after a season his father was not satisfied with the club and he moved the young genius to ES Viry-Chatillon and was there for another two years.

The Beginning of his professional football career

During certain time in 1992, Monaco sent Scout Arnold Catalano to watch Henry, then at the age of 13, in a match Henry scored all six goals and helped his side to record such historical victory . The brilliant performance attracted Catalano and he encouraged him to join Monaco without any initial trial.

Subsequently, the genius joined the Arsene Wenger  side at Monaco as a very young player then and made his first debut with the club on 31st August 1994 in the Match they lost 2-0 against nice.

After an outstanding performance in Monaco in his first year, he was named the French young footballer of the year in 1996,and during the 1996-97 his brilliant contributions to the team won them the Ligue (1) title and during 1998 season he was one of the key player that led the team to the UEFA  Champions League semi finals.

He continued with Monaco and his 5th seasons with the club he scored over 20 goals in 105 appearances.

Henry Departs Monaco

Theirry Henry departed Monaco in January 1999 and moved directly to the italian giant Juventus  at a transfer fee of  $10.5 milion, he featured as a winger as well as wing back and midfielder, the start was not to good for him from the side he played as he suffered against the defensive power of the italian teams and he recorded just 3 goals in 16 matches. 

The great move to Arsenal

1999-2007 saw Thierry Henry moved to the English side Arsenal from Juventus on 3 August 1999 for about 11 million euros and he met his former manager Arsene Wenger as he replaces his fellow French footballer Nicolas Anelka, his move to Arsenal was remarkable and historical and will never be forgotten by the genius himself as it was in Arsenal that Henry wrote his name with gold and proved to the world that he's a world-class footballer, and even the world did not doubt it.

Not too far in his stay in Arsenal, Henry was converted to a full striker by Arsene Wenger and the conversion was great with future benefits even though there were doubts and fear concerning his ability to adapt with the English League pressure as he failed to record a goal in his first eight matches.

Subsequently,Henry picked a better form in Arsenal and final unlock his scoring potential as he netted 26 goals and Arsenal came second in the Premier League. His second season in Arsenal proved a success and total football career brakthrough as alot happened with different types of goals and outstanding performance and it was more obvious that he's a true world class footballer

Arsenal won the Premier League Title 

2001-002 season was remarkable and historical for Arsenal as they finished on top of the table above their runner up Liverpool with 7 points clear and lifted the giant and most prestigious English premier League title and also mauled Chelsea 2-0 in the FA Cup finals.

Henry was the top goal scorer and recorded 32 goals in all competitions and gave 32 assists.

Arsenal could not defend the title in the subsequent year and Henry was seen to have  competed with the Man United Ruud Van Nistelrooy for the League scoring title, but unfortunately for the French man, Ruud Van the Dutch man claim the title with just a goal ahead of Henry and was awarded the golden boot.

Nevertheless, Henry was named the PFA players player of the year and FWA footballer of the year respectively. His rising status as one of the world's best footballers was affirmed after he climbed the ladder and become the runner up for the 2003 FIFA World player of the year award with 24 goals and 20 assists in the League, Henry set a record for most assists in a single premier league season,also became the first player in history to record at least 20 goals and 20 assists in a single season in one of the Europe's top five leagues and this has been made equivalent to Lionel Messi in the recent 2020. 

Trophy was very far away as Arsenal Failed again, Arsenal hoped and played to win the League in 2003 -04 season with Henry an actor in the team alongside other players, the gunners became the first team to go through the domestic leagues unbeaten and claiming the League Title and Henry awarded with diffrent awards at different categories with 39 goals in all competitons and won the European golden boot

Henry became the clubs top goal scorer of all time on 17th october 2005, the year was a remarkable and historical in his football year at Arsenal with a lot incredible  personal achievements and general performance for the club but unfortunately, they could not defend the title and focuses on the UEFA Champions League as they get to the finals of the 2006 UEFA  Champions league season against the Spanish giants Barcelona

Arsenal lost 2-1 against Barcelona in the final of the 2006 UEFA champions League .

Henry moved to Barcelona

The genius was given a jersey number 14 just as he wore in Arsenal.He scored his first goal in the 3-0 win against Lyon in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in 2007 and recordd his first hat trick for Barca in the La Liga against Levante, he won the Copa del Rey for Barca, won the Spanish League  and won the UEFA Champions league and other achievement were made by the Frenchman.

2010-2014 for Thierry Henry was the talk to move to New York Red Bulls and retirement.

Bigger trouble for Barcelona

  What a big surprise as Barcelona lost all three points yesterday against Athletico Madrid Barcelona were at home on Saturday when they host the other side Athletico de Madrid, it was an interesting moment for the Catalan giants after they took the lead earlier in the first half of the game as Pedri converted a chance to goal in the 29th minute the match continued like that until the end of first half.
